GE HealthCare is hiring for the role of Software Intern!
Responsibilities of the Intern:
Hands-on Linux based embedded software development;able to create and deliver platform components, application development and analyze and resolve technical issues
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns and C++ coding principles.
Interacting with global teams to promote consistency and maximize synergies across common software platforms
Ensuring SDLC process compliance during requirements gathering, architecture design, implementation, and verification.
Working effectively in an Agile scrum team and continuously improving the team’s performance
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
Responsible for their software quality including unit testing and verification of the system.
Requirements:
In 3rd or 4th year of college graduate program/Bachelor’s Degree / Masters in a relevant Engineering discipline (Electronics or Software is preferred)
Strong C, C++ language skills.Should have hands on experience in Shell / perl/ python scripting
Should have understanding of generative AI
Strong interpersonal skills
Prior industry experience is preferred
Expertise in using Source control tools
Hardware Expertise:
Knowledge on ARM based processor architecture, knowledge on USB/Flash/LAN/WLAN/Bluetooth technologies.
Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues
Experience in Eclipse, GITLAB
