We are inviting applications for the role of AM-SQL Developer

We are looking for a dynamic, results-oriented skilled SQL Developer with good of experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in database development, SQL querying, and data management with strong business and financial acumen. The candidate should have the ability to work independently, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This is a great opportunity to take on an exciting and crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining database solutions to meet our organization’s needs.

This role also involves providing analytical support in the pricing of products and services capitalizing on data and analytics to identify opportunities to improve pricing optimization, maximize revenues, and ensure competitive prices to customers.

Responsibilities:

•              Develop, Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Database Setup & Configuration SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data efficiently.

•              Design and implement database solutions based on business requirements.

•              Create, maintain, and optimize Views / Tables, use Join techniques, datatypes, and functions to effectively manage complex data.

•              Develop and manage technical documentations including data models, procedures, and guidelines.

•              Design, execute and monitor data processes to ensure correctness and accuracy.

•              Develop models and tools to inform pricing decisions.

•              Develop models for pricing strategies and develop and revise pricing strategies as needed.

•              Monitor pricing performance across all regions and product lines. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.

•              Generate pricing analysis reports and present findings to senior management.

•              Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data-related needs and provide effective solutions.

•              Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in database development.

Minimum Qualifications:

•              Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

•              Good years of experience as a SQL Developer or in a similar role including pricing analysis and/or sales analytics.

•              Strong knowledge of database administration, design, and normalization procedures.

•              Strong knowledge of SQL Server (including SSIS); experience with Oracle is a plus.

•              Ability to develop and troubleshoot complex SQL scripts and stored procedures.

•              Strong experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Database Setup & Configuration.

•              Excellent analytical, project management and problem-solving skills.

•              Ability to communicate findings and recommendations to executive-level stakeholders.

•              Proficiency in MS Office suite (particularly Excel).

•              Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

•              Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.

•              Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.

•              Experience with database administration tasks.

•              Familiarity with version control systems.

•              Certifications in database development or related fields (optional).

•              Hands on experience of Statistical modelling and Pricing techniques.
