Responsibilities of the Candidate:
Assist in developing design and engineering solutions for high-volume medical device products
Collaborate with senior and lead engineers to deliver relevant solutions through design iterations, risk retirement, technical analyses/FMEA, and verification activities
Utilize BD’s stage gate Global Product Development System and employ DFM/ DFSS and relevant engineering tools to ensure high-quality, robust, and cost-effective designs
Partner cross-functionally to execute all aspects of product development
Ensure successful design transfer into manufacturing
Learn and apply first principles engineering for analysis and problem-solving
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the fundamentals in the relevant area of study
Utilize strong analytical skills to solve complex engineering challenges
Requirements:
Graduate/ Bachelor’s or Post-Graduate/ Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field (Mechanical, Industrial & Production, Bio-medical, Chemical, Materials Engineering, Instrumentation)
Strong fundamentals in the area of study
First principle analysis approach
Strong analytical skills
Proficiency in relevant software tools such as SolidWorks, Simulation software, etc., is preferred
