Responsibilities of the Candidate:
Create efficient data pipelines for data processing, transformation, and storage.
Develop and maintain data schemas that align with business requirements to ensure data consistency and efficient querying enabling reuse.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
Provide leadership and guidance to the technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Implement best practices for cloud-based data storage, security, and scalability.
Generate ideas for designing and building data engineering solutions using standard frameworks.
Able to design and build ETL solutions that are performant, consistent, and scalable.
Test and enable data migration from legacy data warehouse to cloud.
Requirements:
B. Tech (Computer Science) or equivalent degree preferred
Experience in leading projects (local or global), stakeholder management, working with competing priorities
Experience with any programming language, preferably python
Knowledge of SQL and performance tuning. Experience with Snowflake is a must
Flexibility and ability to adapt to new technologies
Experience with team handling
