Responsibilities of the Intern:
Analyze, design, and prototype aspects of your research, workloads, and/or system features and collaborate with internal and external partners to evaluate and bring advanced networking system design and workloads to life
Collaborate with the research team to investigate, apply, and develop state-of-art AI/ML optimizations to areas like energy efficiency of the network, optimal resource allocation to meet user’s service level agreement, etc
Requirements:
Proficient in C/C++, Python, Linux and knowledge of system software
Proficient in AI/ML tools and technology
Familiar with network architecture and protocols
Knowledge of network or 5G cellular network architecture a plus
Ability to analyze resource utilization issues in systems and propose enhancements to improve performance (e.g., energy, throughput, etc.) of a scalable and distributed system
Ability to work in ambiguous technical environments Education/Experience
