Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement ETL data pipelines as per the business requirements for reporting (DSS) needs
Design, Build, ]Deploy and Schedule Optimized solutions involving Big Data Tech Stack
Collaborate with Data Scientists & Data Analysts to achieve the desired model/outcome as per the business specifications
Collaborate with Enterprise teams within UHG for requirement gathering and use case implementation for the product/project

Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Hands-on experience in Data ingestion, curation, processing, and business specific analytic needs
In-depth knowledge and experience in SQL, Hive, Spark Scala/Python, Unix
Experience with streaming frameworks such as Kafka
Understanding of data-warehousing and data-modeling techniques
Good interpersonal/Behavioral skills with positive outlook and complete team player
Preferred Qualification:
Strong data engineering skills with Azure cloud platform Careers with Optum.
