Code for GovTech (C4GT) is an ecosystem initiative to build an open-source community around Digital Public Goods (DPG), Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), and tech building blocks with use cases in social impact.Dedicated Mentoring Program (DMP) 2024 is an experiential learning opportunity for technology enthusiasts across the globe. Participants will solve population-scale problems, work on live open-source projects, and drive impact while being mentored closely by experienced industry practitioners.
Eligibility Criteria:
Any technology enthusiast who has the skill set mentioned in the project requirements and is interested in coding or product design (user research and UI/UX design) and willing to contribute to open-source projects is eligible for participation.
Selected contributors need to be available for a minimum of 20 hours a week over a period of 3 months from June to September (can be more as well based on the project requirements). This is a remote opportunity but may involve travel based on the requirements of the project and the organization.

Join Discord – Click here to join the Discord channel and interact with mentors of various projects of C4GT’s DMP 2024 who will be guiding the contributors through the program.
Select the project(s) – Click here to go through all the projects for C4GT’s DMP 2024. Please Note – More projects will be released on the 20th of April, stay tuned. To boost your chances of selection to DMP 2024 by 25%, you can also contribute to C4GT’s open community projects / complete the GitHub classroom project here and mention your contributions in the proposal to avail extra points for your candidature.
Proposal submission – To be considered for the coding program you have to submit at least one proposal for a project of your choice. You can submit a maximum of 3 proposals for three different project preferences. Please refer to the sample proposal & guidelines document- Click Here.
Interviews – If your proposal is selected, you may be invited for an interview or given an assignment based on the organization’s evaluation process.
