Varian is hiring for the post of Java Developer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Understand the complete product features and be able to demonstrate them when needed
- Investigate customer complaints and respond with thorough root cause analysis in a timely fashion
- Work with stakeholders including the Product Managers, Data Engineers, and Design teams while troubleshooting various micro-service/data-related technical issues
- Understand business processes and comply with company-wide regulations
- Build and track various KPIs/dashboards that reflect product health and usage, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics
- Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems
Requirements:
- BE, MSc, MCA, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Experience Level: 0-3 years
- Should have Good/fair experience in object-oriented programming, Java/J2EE applications, and advanced concepts. (Expected to have good clarity about basics)
- Good/fair knowledge of Hibernate, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and REST API
- Good/fair knowledge of Backbone JS, Core Java, JSON, XML, XPATH, and XSLT
- Workable / Basic knowledge of UI frameworks – HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, etc
- Workable / Basic knowledge of shell script and basic Linux/UNIX commands
- Experience in developing Spring Boot applications with Rest API, Micro Services
- Thorough understanding of relational databases
- Ability to write complex queries (SQL)
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written communication is a must-have
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with cloud concepts/ related certification is a plus
- Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly (should be well versed in at least one area of the above-mentioned tech stack)
- Hands Experience with DevOps Tools such as GIT, and Gradle to support the development activities.
